The View Point – February 2018

Hello Everyone,
February 1, 2018 Welcome to our February edition of The Viewpoint. I feel like I just exhaled after the holidays ended and now I am writing to you about February happenings.

February 1st marks the first day of the “New” West View. Our name is the same, we are all the same but our new owners have officially taken over operations of the facility. I am hoping in the weeks to come I can schedule another meet and greet reception so you can get to know the new owners.

I am hoping the deep freeze we experienced in January does not return for another 20 years. Records were broken repeatedly during that stretch of time but we are that much closer to spring.

We had a brief bout of flu and it has passed hoping that doesn’t return. We ask if you are not feeling well that you do not visit until you feel better. We also encourage everyone to wash your hands frequently to avoid the spread of germs.

February is a fun month, highlighted by Valentine’s Day. Lent begins for our Christian community on Ash Wednesday the 14th. If you are giving up candy for lent, as many do, you may want to celebrate Valentines on the 13th Fat Tuesday!
