Hospice Services
West View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center offers hospice care for your loved ones. Hospice is a special type of skilled care designed to provide services to patients who have a life-limiting illness that no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments. Hospice creates a patient and family environment of hope, comfort, and dignity. We also believe that hospice is about caring for the whole person -- not just physically -- but emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
Hospice neither hastens nor postpones death; it works to improve the patient’s quality during the end of life care in their final days. Hospice works to maintain pain management, while also providing emotional and spiritual support for the patient, their family and friends. It also offers a variety of bereavement and counseling services to families before and after a patient’s death.
At West View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we provide Hospice for our patients with optimal care in order to make the end of life care process as comfortable as possible. Our skilled nursing facility ensures each patient receives their individual needs and wishes, including emotional and spiritual support, as well as counseling as necessary in preparation of death. We accept patients with all types of life-limiting illness.
